Wastewater Plant Maintenance Worker

This position will perform a variety of skilled manual work and maintenance tasks.  The position will work in the maintenance of facilities, equipment, and machinery at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.   The maintenance of the facilities will consist of general custodial work (cleaning of administration building and other areas) plus assisting the maintenance staff with various minor maintenance duties.  This position may also operate a tractor or other light machinery in carrying out various assignments. Premium pay for on-call weeks.  Some maintenance experience is preferred.  A valid NC driver’s license is required.  Starting salary is $ 27,564. Open until filled.
