Cemetery & Grounds PT Maintenance Worker

This position performs a variety of unskilled, manual work and tasks requiring the use of simple motorized equipment and hand tools to maintain City facilities. Sweeps and cleans sidewalks, restrooms, and indoor/outdoor facilities. Landscapes and maintains parks and grounds including: mows grass, rakes leaves, trims shrubbery, removes trash/brush and other debris, sows and fertilizes grass, plants trees/shrubbery/flowers, prunes trees and shrubs, spreads mulch and other related activities.  Loads & unloads supplies, equipment, tools, and materials. Operates mowers, weed eaters, etc.  Performs related work as required.   May assist in painting and light construction projects as needed. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 75 pounds safely.  Ability to bend, stoop and climb in a variety of construction and maintenance situations.   Outdoor environment.  Exposure to all types of adverse weather conditions. Open until filled.
