The Morganton Parks & Recreation Department is looking for an energetic, organized, flexible individual to join the hometown team as an Aquatics Supervisor (part-time) to help plan and coordinate aquatic activities and programs, opening and closing pools and facilities, membership applications, booking birthday parties and swim lesson registration, ensure cleanliness of facility and adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
This position works closely with the Parks and Recreation Aquatics Manager and Supervisor and requires great customer service, ability to work as part of a team, and sound judgment and discretion in the application and interpretation policies and procedures. Must be able to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays. Starting pay rate is $11:00 / hour. This is a temporary job currently scheduled for 30-40 hours a week during the summer season, possibility for position to continue on a part time basis after the summer. Open until filled.
