Lanes of traffic temporarily closing in Downtown Morganton
City crews will be closing several lanes of traffic in Downtown Morganton Monday, June 14, through Friday, June 18, to complete construction work on traffic islands surrounding the Courthouse Square.
The inside lanes closest to the Courthouse Square on South Green Street and South Sterling Street, and both lanes of East Meeting Street will be closed while work is being performed. Motorists should use caution when passing through this area to ensure the safety of the workers involved.
The lanes of traffic will be reopened Friday, June 18.
